Jennifer Tilly, born on September 16, 1958 in Los Angeles under extremely poor circumstances. Her mother worked as a schoolteacher and an unsuccessful actor, while her father sold cars. Jennifer was the youngest of the four children in her family was often with her mom to her theater performances and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's parents split at the age of five. Jennifer was raised in British Columbia by her mother who moved there with her siblings. Jennifer didn't get a good education, despite being a talented child. Because of her experience in Canada's public schools, Jennifer came under the sway of a lot of bullying. When she was in high school, her love for theater began to wane. In order to combat this, her mother helped to take part as an extra in several performances. All of her children were encouraged by their mom to explore a passion of art. Then she began to act.
